Quantifying Bacterial Evolvability

I am interested how evolutionary processes acting on different genetic architectures give rise to the creative brilliance of the natural world and to effective technologies in the laboratory and on the computer. I conduct evolution experiments with bacteria and digital organisms to understand relationships between variation, robustness, modularity, redundancy, genetic regulation, and evolvability.

Currently, I am a postdoctoral fellow in the laboratories of Richard Lenski and Charles Ofria at Michigan State University.
